Our data. Our cleaned and graded counts are licensed under CC BY 4.0. You can reuse them, including commercially, if you credit The Store Count. The underlying sources keep their own licences: All the Places (CC0), Overture Maps (CDLA-Permissive-2.0) and SEC filings (public domain).

No warranty. We check our numbers carefully, but store counts change daily and sources can be wrong. The data is provided “as is”, without warranty. Grades show how far each number can be trusted.

Not investment advice. Nothing on this site is investment, legal or financial advice.

Trademarks. Chain names are used only to identify the chains we describe. We don’t use their logos and aren’t affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
